|MODELING THE EGYPTIAN LOCOMOTIVES|
|Henschel AA22t (Click on link to see prototype) . Henschel produced another powerfull AA dual cab unit for Egypt in the mid-seventies with over 2000 hp, the AA22t .This locomotive was widely run by the ENR both north and south and used for several train services and now it represents the back bone of the Egyptian fleet .
With the introduction of this locomotive, the paint schemes which followed the British paint colors for many decades have come to an
end . This new batch was painted in light silver with the Egyptian flag logo on the sides . I modeled this locomotive based on my direct view of it when I visited Egypt, and also on several pictures that I obtained
for this purpose. This beautifull locomotive was built in HO scale completely from scratch without using any kits. It was built from styrene and few metal (wheels) accessories and was brush painted and decaled . It does not have an engine unlike the rest of the collection .
